Bio : Former beamline scientist at the inelastic x-ray scattering beamline of ESRF, Valentina Giordano is a CNRS researcher at ILM since 2011. Expert of phonon dynamics in disordered systems, she uses advanced large scale facilities techniques together with laboratory techniques to investigate the microscopic origin of thermal transport properties in materials of interest for energy harvesting and thermal management applications.
